2017 American Literature Association Conference in Boston, MA
The conference, scheduled for May 25-28, will take place at the Westin Copley Place, Boston, MA. Conference details and information about hotel reservations are available through the web site of the American Literature Association.
Christine Hait will chair the Society’s session. The topic of the session will be “Katherine Anne Porter and the Body.” The session topic reflects Porter’s intense exploration in her writings of subjects such as health, illness, reproduction, sex and sexuality, beauty, violence, death, and the relationship of the body to mind and spirit.
